PRIVATE DOCUMENTARY DOCU-FILM

One of Hollywood’s most scandalous soap stars exposes himself completely. Baring his soul to full frontal nudity, the former teen idol reveals successes and failures, family schizophrenia and murder, his secret paranoia, secret passion and secret personalities.

Isolation and naked-snow-shoveling are still a titillating novelty after escaping Hollywood and fleeing to the mountains until the bearded artist gets a knock on the door. It’s his repressed actor-self, pushing him to return to Hollywood, backed by a sitcom queen and macho straight actor. Thom plays all 5 characters including the Russian analyst whose job is to bury the acting personalities back into the artist’s brain. Thom’s quiet Lake Arrowhead painting paradise is capsized by his other unwelcome personalities and he must at long last decide his greatest passion: be it acting or painting.

The powerful talkshow clips recounting Thom’s mother murdered by his paranoid schizophrenic brother in 1989, and the suicide of his other paranoid brother, and Thom now sharing his own social paranoia in present day, give this docu-film a riveting reality TV heartbeat.

Thom Bierdz is best known for recurring on Melrose Place and playing Phillip Chancellor III on The Young & The Restless off and on since 1986. Bierdz’s memoir Forgiving Troy about forgiving his schizophrenic brother for killing their mother was revered by critics and his new sex memoir is as shockingly candid. He is co-founder and president of www.AmericanArtAwards.com, which annually honors the best galleries and museums in America and artists across the globe. An established fine artist in the LA art scene now that Scarlett Johansson hosted his gallery show, this art film is essentially Bierdz’s most significant art contribution.
